Your mobile is fine until you want a day off. A proper landline rings wherever you tell it to, during the hours you choose, and keeps your own number off every job sheet.
£19.99 a month, with voicemail to email and call recording includedThis is deliberate. Voicemail, business hours, an after-hours greeting and call recording are on every plan, so the only question you have to answer is how many calls you take.
| Plan | Price | Minutes a month | Who it is for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | £19.99 a month | 500 in / 150 out | One number, for a one-van trade or a single-room business. |
| Standard | £29.99 a month | 700 in / 300 out | For a shop or a salon that takes bookings on the phone all day. |
| Pro | £54.99 a month | 1,400 in / 550 out | For a team sharing the line, or a business that calls out as much as it takes in. |
| Port an existing number | £15, once | — | A one-off admin fee to move a number you already have onto whichever plan you pick. |
Incoming and outgoing minutes are counted separately. There is no contract, and you can move up or down a plan at the start of any month.
There is no feature ladder here. What follows is what a Blinki number does on the cheapest plan and on the dearest one.
A mobile number on a van is a number that rings on a Sunday. A business number rings your mobile during the hours you set, sends everything else to voicemail, and emails you the message. Same phone in your pocket, and an evening back.
There is no line to install, because there is no line. It is a number that routes to a phone you already own.
Choose the town you want to look local to. We show you what is free in that code.
Your mobile, usually. Change it whenever you like, including for a week while somebody covers for you.
Anything outside them goes to voicemail with your own greeting on it.
No engineer visit, no handset, no router. The number works from the moment it is paid for.
If your number is already on your signage, your vehicles and three hundred customers’ phones, moving it is worth the fortnight it takes.
Your current provider, the account number and the exact number as it appears on the bill.
A one-off £15 covers the admin. Your old provider has to agree a date, which is the part that takes the time.
The number rings where it always rang until the switch happens.
Same routing, same voicemail-to-email, same portal as everything else.
The honest comparison is not with another provider. It is with what most small businesses actually do, which is give out a mobile.

All three are the sort of thing you find out in month two otherwise.
Outgoing minutes are an allowance rather than a meter. When you reach the end of it outbound calling stops until the month turns over or you move up a plan. Nobody gets a surprise invoice.
Incoming minutes are the same shape. If you are regularly hitting the ceiling, the answer is the next plan up, not a bigger bill for the one you are on.
The number does not send or receive SMS. If texting customers is central to how you work, this is not the right product for that part of it.
Voicemail arrives as an email with the recording attached, but it is not written out as text. We would rather say that than list a feature that does not exist.
This is an internet-based number, so emergency calls depend on your internet and on the address we hold for the number being current. Keep a mobile for emergencies and tell us if you move premises.
That is true of every provider of this kind of number, including the big ones. It is worth knowing rather than discovering.
Including the ones about leaving, because a page that will not answer those is hiding something.
Yes. A geographic UK 01 or 02 number in the area code you pick, that anybody can dial from any phone. It is not an 03 or an 08 number and it does not cost your customers extra to ring.
No. The number forwards to a phone you already have, which for almost everybody is their mobile. There is nothing to plug in, nothing to install and no router involved.
Your mobile number stays yours. The business number is the one on the van, the website and the quotes, and it only rings you during the hours you set. Everything else goes to voicemail and arrives as an email.
The same day. Pick the area code, pick where it rings, and it works. There is no line install and no engineer.
Everything. Voicemail to email, business hours, an after-hours greeting and call recording are on Starter exactly as they are on Pro. The plans differ only in minutes.
Outbound calling stops until the month resets or you move up a plan. We do not bill overage, so there is no scenario where a busy month turns into an invoice you were not expecting.
Yes. Send a recent bill from your current provider and we will port it across for a one-off £15. It keeps ringing where it always did until the switchover date is agreed.
Usually a couple of weeks, and the delay is nearly always your existing provider agreeing the date rather than anything at our end. We will tell you the date as soon as it is confirmed.
Yes, on every plan. Bear in mind that if you record calls you have obligations under UK data protection law about telling people and about how long you keep the recordings.
It forwards to one number at a time, and you can change which number that is whenever you like, including from your phone. If you need several people ringing at once, tell support what you are trying to do before you buy.
No. There is no SMS on these numbers. If texting customers matters to you, that will need to be something separate.
It is an internet-based number, so emergency calling depends on your internet connection and on us holding your current address. Keep a mobile for emergencies, and tell us if you move.
No. It is billed monthly and you can cancel at the end of any month. Moving up or down a plan happens at the start of the next month.
You can port it out to another provider the same way you ported it in. Start that before you cancel, because once a number is released it cannot be recovered.
Pick a number in your own area code and it is live the same day, on the same login and the same bill as everything else.
